Constitution Day Celebration
Annually
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

On Sept. 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution was signed by thirty-nine brave men who changed the course of history. Now Constitution Day is a time for us to continue their legacy and develop habits of citizenship in a new generation of Americans.

In celebration of Constitution Day, the Center for Free Inquiry will host an event each year. These events will take a variety of forms, be located in a variety of locations, and cover a variety of Constitution-related topics.
