Conversations in the Liberal Arts

The Conversations in the Liberal Arts program is designed to foster a deep understanding among members of the larger Hanover College community of the kind of focused, interdisciplinary inquiry that defines the liberal arts. Modeled after the Center's Faculty Colloquium program, this two-day, seminar style program is led by a special discussion leader chosen by the Center. The discussion leader selects a topic and readings which are then sent to participants. Roughly three-to-five months later, the participants gather for a two-day retreat to participate in the kind of freewheeling, cross-disciplinary inquiry that defines the liberal arts.
