  • Fred Shaw (aka Neeake): the official storyteller for the Shawnee Nation United Remnant Band. He has directed his life toward healing and understanding by sharing the stories and wisdom of his people to help listeners understand the importance of the natural world. He illustrates the long-held belief that it is the natural world which will enrich and complete our lives; and, in fact, always has. Today, the problems we face have the solutions right next to them; we just need to know where to look and how to listen. This is the power of the ancient storyteller, who can guide the way to solutions for those with open ears and hearts.
